Project Overview
Expanding our educational footprint into the Hunter Region, Michael and the team partnered with ACC Singleton to reclaim an uneven, underutilised part of their campus. The school wanted a clean, flat space where students could play safely without dealing with dirt and mud.
The Said Civil Contractors team thrives on transforming difficult terrain into highly functional spaces. Michael led the crew through extensive bulk earthworks and structural tiering, utilising natural materials to provide the school with an aesthetically pleasing and incredibly durable recreational zone.
Scope of The Project
This project required heavy machinery to completely reshape the land, followed by precise structural and soft landscaping to create a highly durable play space. The team handled bulk excavation to cut the uneven site down to a flat footprint, safely exporting all excess soil from the campus. We then constructed heavy-duty sandstone retaining walls to manage the remaining slope, finishing the space by expertly installing and seaming 550m² of premium synthetic grass built for heavy foot traffic.
Project Outcomes
The school was thrilled with the transformation delivered by Said Civil Contractors. The campus gained a vibrant, highly functional area that perfectly balances natural aesthetics with low-maintenance durability.
